NFT Security & Drainer Detection
NFT scams are one of the fastest-growing threats in crypto. Malicious smart contracts can drain your entire wallet the moment you mint an NFT. The Guava NFT Safety Scanner helps you avoid these scams by analyzing contracts before you interact with them.
What the mint scanner checks
- Wallet drainer detection: Identifies contracts with functions that can transfer all your NFTs and tokens
- Proxy contracts: Flags upgradeable contracts where the owner can change the logic after mint
- Self-destruct capability: Detects contracts that can be destroyed by the owner
- Metadata storage: Checks if metadata is stored on IPFS (safe) or centralized servers (risky)
- Deployer reputation: Checks if the deployer has created rugs or scam tokens before
- Source code verification: Verifies if the contract is open source on Etherscan
Collection health analysis
Beyond mint safety, the collection health score evaluates holder distribution, wash trading patterns, trading integrity, and team reputation. A high wash trade ratio or concentrated holder distribution are strong signals of a pump-and-dump scheme.
NFT approval audits
Many NFT scams work through malicious approvals. When you approve a contract to interact with your NFTs, a malicious spender can drain your collection later. The approval audit identifies all active approvals on your wallet and flags risky or known-malicious spenders.
Supported chains
The NFT scanner supports Ethereum, BSC (BNB Chain), Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Avalanche. All scans are powered by GoPlus Security API, Moralis NFT API, and Etherscan V2.
